Why do I not see portal???? Why!!!!!!
Reading through the comments I think people need to learn what educational games are, they are (usually cheap) games for young kids to learn so Assassin's Creed and Typing of The Dead do not qualify…
Doesn't Portal count as educational, it's puzzle solving… for science
the first age of empires tought me more about histroy (not alot but MORE) than a entire year of history class
I Think Plague.Inc should be on the list but give it to at lest 9 years old children because
it is so flipping hard and evil in a way
canism canem edit should be in the list but that game should be banned untill rockstar gets there head out of thier mouths and make a squeal
I was thinkig " Oregon trail had better be number one"
Zoo tycoon is super fun and you learn a shit-ton about animals.
The rollercoaster tycoon franchise
Why is is that nobody ever mentions the sequels to number Muncher? I never played Number Muncher. I played two games that were called Math Muncher and Trivia Muncher which had WAY better graphics and sound, and were are possibly other sequels too.
Math blaster and Mario teaches Typing, two games that I know very well over a decade ago. Good times.
Typing of the Dead. Enough said.
No one ever mentions The Cluefinders…
now we use typeing web
you forgot skyrim it teaches to help others
Where's Timez Attack? Man that game was awesome at teaching math.
where's reader rabbit???
50% of intercity kids drop out before graduating
Tetris?
In the description it says schol instead of school
This guy looks blazed as fuck
Que bueno que hayas hecho un Top 5 de los mejores juegos educativos. Cuesta mucho encontrar buenos videojuegos educativos. Dónde está Carmen San Diego lo había jugado, pero una mucho más antigua, no me parecía educativo.
ASSASSINS CREED
WHERE IS ASSASSIN CREED????? MEANS LIKE IT TAUGHT ME HISTORY TO SOME EXTENT
In the description (I am soooo freaking sorry to be a grammar nazi) it says scholl not school
I think uncharted should have been on there, i mean just play the game because it teaches you so much about foreign ancient history despite being violent and the main character is a murderer.
Bully!
Or-ea-Gon trail?
COD:Black Ops taught me a bit about the Vietnam war. But when she asked me to name one major hero I said Frank Woods. Maybe I should have actually studied.
why not gta it taught me never trust anybody
what About Typing Of The Dead
What about Assassin's Creed? (history lesson)
WITWICS is WAY TOO LOW
Professor layton!
teaches you how to be a gentleman and how to solve puzzles + think outside the box
orgon trail best educational game.
educational games suck.
MINECRAFT!
what about dynasty warriors or sengoku basara their fun and teach you history
I remember playing these games also! 🙂 But what killed me was when he pronounced Oregon wrong. He said OR-EE-GON When it is "OR-IH-GEN" hahahah. It drives me crazy!
What about I.M Meen?
DAMMIT, LASERCORN! YOU LIVE IN CALIFORNIA! THERE IS NO LOGICAL REASON WHY YOU SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PRONOUNCE OREGON! IT'S JUST LIKE MORRIGAN BUT WITHOUT THE M! OR-RIGG-IN!
Bookworm Adventures.
It's epic.
being a bum or zombie is better than having a youtuber life jk
I have been away from the pC gaming world since I left Warcraft. But here I am looking for games that are educational for my kids, in various age range for kids and all I see are ATARI level graphics doodoo?!!! Shocking, and I must say, from the looks this post was either done in 1983 or this segment has been way underestimated for consumer interest.
Carmen Santiago was my shit
Mario is missing(geography), Typing of the dead(Touchtyping)
and this game I literally spent the last 10 minutes trying to find. "Lemonade Stand" for the Apple ][ and Acorn Personal Computers lol, it was a text based game where you just had to run a lemonade stand and make money, weather come into play, you had to haggle prices depending on the weather that day and who it was that was currently trying to make a purchase "e.g a little girl approaches the stand" or how many you sold last week and you brought what money you made the day before to your next day and had a bit of "pocket money" within the game. but at it's core it taught you the basics of making profit from a simple business and expanding your stock etc
but when I played it, it was at school where we had 5 Acorn PC's we shared each week till we all had a whole lesson each
we competed for sweeties against other class members lol oh nostalgia
it also reminds me of 1 other game we learnt at school, which was basically 2D CADCAM/CNC programming, but you drove a little turtle around using commands and he left a line behind him, n we had to try and draw out a requested shape by the teacher as close as possible. can't remember getting sweets for that one though lmao.
but once you put in the commands, you would have to wait while this turtle lagged his way around your screen leaving the line, the suspense was intense as many kids turtles would just fuck up halfway through the shape. this was all during primary school btw lol
True
I remember Oregon Trail. Does anyone remember Bailey's Bookhouse, Type to learn 3 or Funbrain the math map?
Who even cares about stupid educational school games.
